i feel, so loved! just like a mafia boss should.
school has kept me very busy. i have officially declared metalsmithing and jewelry as my major. ive successfully fired my first kiln in ceramics (granted, all my glazes ended up revolting. but good things come to those who wait.) been keeping up with my painting class, and acing my art history class. but metalsmithing is where all my time goes. ive begun working with plastics. come tomorrow, i will be learning how to use a lathe, so i can turn some gorgeous wood i bought a week ago (black palm. i understand its a difficult wood to start with, since it isnt very hard, but it has such glorious results, i thought i should jump in and try.). i have more music than one can shake a stick at (
), and a horrible roommate that i hope leaves at the semester. and ive finally found some really solid friends at the university. ive found a very strange pattern in the triumvirates i find myself a part of. teh redi is busy, but sends her love!
My anthropology course is differnt...challenging but different from everything else art studio related. So meh.
Matrix revolutions was really good IMHO.
