so not only did he buy my artwork, without copyrights, on a CD (that i know i sure as heck didnt sell) but then he RIPS it to?! omfg.
WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON.
yesterday someone showed me some rips of my artwork, and now today?! holy mother of pearl, what the heck is going on.

Yup the cd thing may be a cop out, oldest trick in the mofo book!

If there is a cd then thats some fucked up shady shit but that means you are huge with the underground crowd which is cool in its own way.

Anyways, Its a shame to see this. More people need to be aware of copyright laws. I mean you could legitimately sue this person if you wanted, but this person is prob only 12 or something.

I was a recent hit of ripping [link] , its funny too see it first off and kind of flattering but then anger sets in. I also hate how some of these people use the work first then ask after, like thats even worst.

damn e-bay kinda sucks i dont use it my partner lives on there and he noticed it as well.

e-bay has been getting really bad.

I think it was in July, someone posted a link to an e-bay auction where someone had downloaded a bunch of things off deviantART and put them on cd and was selling them.

E-bay's policy was unless the original artists faxed them a signed affidavite that they had not given permission, they wouldn't pull the auction. I tried contacting the artists whose works I recognized, but no one replied before the auction ended
